The Malach of YHWH / Yeshua & YHWH….. who are they???

I have to say for years Ive looked this over and over right from the scriptures …  what amazes me is how simple it is … u know people say Yeshua is not YHWH and I have to Ask who is this angel of YHWH ??

What gets me in all of this is this angel of YHWH, He seems to showing up talking in the First Person as if HE HIMSELF IS YHWH!!! ???? As you read any ones encounter with this being , you will find this being talking in first person … and the people that encounter this being calls Him Master ! and they Bow and many times Worship !! !!! what does all this mean??? He is the Only one in the Scriptures you will find being Worshiped and Addressed with a measure of Fear. the Prophets who never say that they are the Master Elohim but that they are a Voice or See .. they say THIS SAYS THE MASTER YHWH… NEVER THIS IS WHAT I SAY !!! but this Angel does!!! … I can give you two accounts where this happens the first we have all read over and over Abraham and the 3… Read this over and over and you will find something amazing happen!!! HUmmm who are THEY…..  MASTER-YHWH?  SIMPLY AN angel OR YEHSUA/YHWH …. THE WORD OF YHWH????

Ill help one more time … look at gideons encounter in judges 6:11

OH and I love to look it up in as many Translations as I can find to see how many vote for the thought!   I always side with the Translation or literation that is closest to the original hebrew.

Blessings and Shalom

The Mark of YHWH

And I heard another voice from heaven, saying: “Come out of her my people; that you may not participate in her sins and may not partake of her plagues. For her sins have reached up to heaven; and Elohim has remembered her iniquities”. Revelation 18:4-5 We are told the mark of the beast will be in the hand and/or the forehead. With today’s present technology we know that a microscopic computer chip can be placed under the skin. But is this just a rouse to keep us off track from understanding what the actual mark of the beast is? Is scripture talking about a tattoo or a microchip? Or is this a spiritual reference. To understand this we must turn to the Tanakh to discover what the “Mark of YAHWEH” is. The mark in the hand and forehead are simply metaphors in the physical world. In the spiritual world, however, they are a literal mark. The hand represents labor, physical activities, and actions. The forehead represents knowledge, understanding, to serve, an oath, and what we believe. Moshe (Moses), upon the instructions of YAHWEH, lays out the Chag haMatzot (Feast of Unleavened Bread). Following this We find the first reference of the “Mark of YAHWEH” in Shemot (Exodus) 13:9-10: “And this (Moedim – Appointment – Shabbat of Unleavened Bread) shall serve you as a sign on your hand and as a reminder on your forehead…you shall keep this institution at its set time from year to year.” “Then YAHWEH said to Moshe, ‘Say to the Yisraelites, ‘You must observe my Sabbatot (Sabbaths). This will be a sign between me and you for the generations to come, so you may know that I am YAHWEH, who makes you kadosh (set apart). Observe the Sabbath, because it is kadosh (set apart) to you. Anyone who desecrates it must be put to death; whoever does any work on that day must be cut off from his people’.” Shemot (Exodus) 31:12-14 After delivering the Mitzwot (Instructions – Commandments) Moshe admonishes Yisrael, “Take to heart these instructions with which I charge you this day. Impress them upon your children. Recite them when you stay at home and when you are away, when you lie down and when you get up. Bind them as a sign on your hand and let them serve as a symbol on your forehead…” D’varim (Deuteronomy) 6:6-8. Again, in D’varim 11:18 we read, “Therefore impress these my Words upon your very heart: bind them as a sign on your hand and let them serve as a symbol on your forehead, and teach them to your children…” So, we see that there is a clear distinguishing mark of YAHWEH that is in the hand and in the forehead of those who keep his Mitzwot (instructions for righteous living). It is not a tattoo or a microchip but is instead the act of obedience to the Mitzwot of YAHWEH. By keeping His Moedim (set times – appointments) Feasts which are Shabbatot (Sabbaths), in keeping His seventh day Shabbat, and in keeping His Mitzwot (instructions in righteousness) we have in our hand and in our forehead the “Mark of YAHWEH”. In contrast let’s compare Daniel 7:25 – “He will speak words against the Most High and will harass the Kadosh (set apart) ones of the Most High. He will think of changing times (Moedim) and laws (Mitzwot) and they will be delivered into his power for a time, times, and half a time.” So he will change Pesach (Passover) and Chag haMatzot to Easter (Ishtar)…He will change YAHWEH’s Mitzwot (Instructions – Law) from the seventh day Shabbat to the first day of the week and teach that “Jesus nailed Torah (Law) to the cross”. Then we find this reference to a mark in the hand and upon the forehead in Revelation 13:15-16 – “And it was given him to put life into the image of the beast of prey; and to cause that all they who would not worship the image of the beast of prey, should be slain: and to cause that all, great and small, rich and poor, bond and free, should receive a mark on their right hands, or upon their foreheads;” Notice that these verses do not say those who refuse this mark go to heaven. You can refuse the mark of the beast but if you have also refused the Mark Of YAHWEH, you will not enter into the Malchut Elohim (Kingdom of Elohim). Does this mean the beast will not use a tattoo or a microchip? Not at all. He can use all means to counterfeit the “Mark of YAHWEH”, especially with those who are not aware of or do not understand the “Mark of YAHWEH”. If it is not obvious enough let’s clarify that the mark of the beast is the anti-thesis of the “Mark of YAHWEH”. YAHWEH declared the seventh day as a Kadosh (Set Apart) Shabbat – day of rest – a memorial of the creation (yes, we celebrate the creation every Shabbat). But the world religious system (anti-Mashiyach) changed YAHWEH’s Moed Shabbat (appointed Sabbath) to the first day of the week to honor pagan sun worship – “Sun”-day. Christianity has chosen to have “church” on Sun-day which, upon examination, is not a Sabbath at all. Just look at all the Christians running to the restaurants, Wal-Mart, Home Depot, cutting the grass or painting the house after “Church” on Sun-day. The truth is that Christianity has no true Sabbath. Rather than observing and keeping Kadosh YAHWEH’s Moed Pesach (Passover), Christianity has chosen to honor the pagan holy day of Ishtar (Easter). They have even incorporated the very same pagan egg laying rabbits as the fertility symbolism of this pagan holy day. Christianity changed the date of Mashiyach’s birth from the first of Sukkote (Feast of Tabernacles) to the birthday of Tammuz, Sol Invictus and a host of other pagan dieties (see Y’shua vs Jesus on this web site). But, this is not a Moed of YAHWEH. Nowhere in scripture are we instructed to observe the birth of anyone. How are we instructed to remember Mashiyach? Through His death and resurrection, “In the same way, after supper he took the cup, saying, ‘This cup is the new covenant in my blood; do this, whenever you drink it, in remembrance of me’.” 1 Corinthians 11:25 Make special notice that this is the Brit Chadasha (New Covenant) and not a new Torah – the “New Covenant” does not abolish Torah. The vast majority of Christian denominations do not observe, preach, nor understand the seven Kadosh Moedim Feasts of YAHWEH, all of which point to Mashiyach. This religious world system has totally created their own holy days while pushing aside YAHWEH’s Moedim. It is man trying to dictate to Elohim how and when man will worship the creator as opposed to man observing and honoring how YAHWEH has instructed us to approach Him. This has clearly become the religious system of anti-Mashiyach with a distinct mark in the hand and in the forehead. So please, explain, what is there about Christianity that comes even remotely close to having the “Mark of YAHWEH”? This is a call for Christianity to return to the faith once delivered to the Set Apart believers (Jude 1:3) and to reject the mark of the beast – the worldly man-made religious system that defies the living Elohim. On every page of this web site you have seen who the set-apart believers are – the ones who have the Mark of Elohim. Notice that it is two parts – faith without works is dead as works without faith is dead. “And the dragon was enraged against the woman; and he went to make war upon the remnant of her seed who keep the Commandments (Mitzwot – Instructions) of Elohim and have the testimony of Y’shua.” Rev. 12-17 The “Mark of YAHWEH” is consistent with, “Hurt you not the earth, nor the sea, nor the trees, until we have sealed the servants of our Elohim upon their foreheads.” Rev 7:3. Chapter 7 then goes on to describe the 144,000 that are sealed. But this number is a remez (a hint) which Andrew Gabriel Roth notes in footnote 26 on page 690 of the Aramaic English New Testament as: “144,000 refers to a type of people, rather than a numerical sum; 10 = testimony 12 = the Yisrael of Elohim; 10 x 10 x 10 is a three fold testimony representing YAHWEH Eloheinu YAHWEH Echad [YAHWEH our Elohim YAHWEH is one]; 12 x 12 is the Yisrael of Elohim who are spiritually re-born in Mashiyach [Messiah]. These sing the song of Moshe and have the testimony of the Lamb. This can also be understood as “the 144,000’s” (plural); a Kedoshim (Set Apart) people. There is a Mishchah (anointing) placed on this faithful remnant, according to Torah (Moshe) and Mashiyach.” So, I add my note, literally 10 x 10 x 10 x 12 x 12 (144,000’s) is a number like infinity to which only YAHWEH knows the exact answer. Many are probably asking, “But I thought Jesus nailed Torah – the Law – to the cross”. Think of how contradictory this false doctrine is compared with the rest of scripture. Consider the scriptures cited above and then compare this with Matthew 5:17-20, “Do not think that I have come to loosen (abolish) Torah or the Prophets, I have not come to loosen but to fulfill. For truly I say to you that until heaven and earth pass away not one yodh or stroke will pass from Torah until everything happens…” Read it in whichever version you choose. Not one yodh, not one stroke will pass from Torah”. Can it be any plainer?. I refer you to the “Matthew 5:17-20” page and the “Passover Week” page on this web site for more on this. You will discover that heaven and earth have not yet passed away and that all has not yet been fulfilled. There are three (3) of Yahweh’s seven (7) Moedim Feasts that remain to be fulfilled in the future. Taking that into consideration, isn’t it time you started relying on the Ruach haKodesh (Set Apart Ancient Spirit – Spirit of Mashiyach) to teach you what you are reading in the scriptures. Yeshua said He gives us the Ruach to lead us into truth and understanding. Why then, do so many of you rely on men to tell you (their ideas and doctrines) what the scriptures say? It is time for you to start questioning what are the traditions of men (just like the religious leaders of Y’shua’s day) and what the scriptures actually teach. What we see throughout the scriptures are two distinct patterns. One pattern is the “Mark of YAHWEH”, following YAHWEH’s instructions and transforming into His image. The other is the mark of the beast (man creating its own image of Elohim after man). So the question arises, which mark have you chosen to take in your hand and in your forehead?

Live as He Lived or WALK AS HE WALKED

If you love Elohim (known to many as “God”) and claim to be serving or united with Him, you must live as Emmanu’El HaMashiyach lived.. He lived by the observance of the Torah (known as the poor title of “Mosaic Law”)..

“A person who claims to be continuing in union with Him (Y’shua HaMashiyach) ought to conduct his life the way He did.” 1 John 2:6 (CJB)

“Those who say they live in God should live their lives as Jesus did.” 1 John 2:6 (NLT)

LIVE AS HE DID….Think about it… He lived by the Torah- SINLESS, because SIN IS transgression of the Torah (1 John 3:4) so He HAD TO live out the Torah to be sin-less!… This is a fact 🙂
Emmanu’El HaMashiyach (Yeshua/Yahusha the Messiah – known to most English speakers as “Jesus”) observed 7th day Shabbat (NOT SUNDAY), kept the Scriptural Feasts (Pesach, etc NOT “EASTER”).. He wore tzitziyot – not wwjd bracelets (Matthew 9:18-26, Matthew 14:36) and he followed the Torah perfectly (2 Corinthians 5:21, 1 Peter 2:22). He rebuked the hypocritical P’rushim (Pharisees) but much of what “Yeshua taught agreed with the ethical teachings of sages of His day (eg; Hillel on loving your neighbor, Shammai on divorce and centrality of the Shema” – hebrew4christians.com (quote).. This wasn’t Yeshua claiming ALL P’rushim (Pharisees) were bad teachers, but the hypocritical ones are a problem, MUCH LIKE TODAY! Pastors, ministers, reverends, priests -OR WHATEVER TITLE- who lie, cheat, steal and commit adultery are no better than the P’rushim Yeshua rebuked!..

Problem with Pharisees? Matthew 23:3 makes it very clear, to do what the Pharisees teach, but NOT WHAT THEY DO; they were hypocrites! Still He said tho, DO WHAT THEY TELL YOU! They tell you Torah from the “seat of Moshe” (Moses).. DO THE TORAH but not what they do because they do not do the Torah! lol

YESHUA, the Messiah, Emmanu’El HaMashiyach followed Torah, observed it, born under it (Gal 4:4), HE IS THE LIVING WORD because the Word became flesh… The “written Word” is the Torah, the LIVING Word is the Torah in Flesh- YESHUA..

BTW the 7 Scriptural Feasts–
1. Passover/Pesach
2. Unleavened Bread
3. Firstfruits/Grain Harvest
4. Weeks/Shavuot
5. Yom Teruah (Trumpets)/Rosh Hashana
6. Day of Atonement/Yom Kippur September
7. Tabernacles/Sukkot

Shalom Shalom Chaverim Tovim

Tired of the “Name-game”..

Boker tov chaverim tovim! 1 John 2:27/2 Tim 2:15..

Again I come to you all in complete humility, exposing some very personal things I’ve discovered and I am a firm believer in Honey over Vinegar.

I love you all as brothers and sisters and wish many can learn and grow in their relationship with our Wonderful Creator.. May he who hath ears let him hear! Hath eyes, let him see! Please allow me to make a few statements with NO INTENT to offend anyone. I am not condemning anyone who call HaMashiyach “J-sus” but I do wish to shed some light on facts that I’ve come to learn through studying Scriptures over years and what little bit of Hebrew I have studied and learned.
I have called HaMashiyach (the Messiah/the Christ) “J-sus” for many years of my life, not fully studying His name. I was shocked to discover some of these things.

  1. There is no J in Hebrew.. The transliterated J is from the letter “yod” represented as a Y.. Such as Jeremiah is actually Yirmeyahu or John is actually Yochanan.. I say again, there is no J in Hebrew.
  2. “J-sus” from the greek, Iosu-s (sounds similar to zu-s a bit?) a “transliteration” from Hebrew -> Greek.. CAN NOT be original name of our graceful Messiah!
  3. You can rest assured in prophecy, His name was to be called Emmanu’El (Is 7:14/Mt 1:23)..
  4. Why would a Hebrew boy, the Lion of the tribe of Yehuda (Judah), be named a Grecian name? It is more likely he was called, Yehoshua (Y’shua) than “J-sus” and even at that, there are many commoners with the name of Yeshua in the Scriptures even a city. Between Paleo-Hebrew or Modern-Hebrew scholars debates, the safest bet and without a doubt name of the Messiah is Matthew 1:23 and you can rest assured it is Scriptural! (Isaiah 7:14)

“G-d’s” name is represented by a tetragrammaton (collection of four Hebrew letters) YHWH/YHVH (Yod-He-Vav/Wav-He), more than likely pronounced YaH-oo-WaH (preferenced in Paleo-Hebrew scholars/studies), although some modern Hebrew scholars rest upon the pronunciation “Yahweh”. This is why I prefer to use the tetragrammaton YHWH.

THERE IS POWER IN HIS NAME my brothers and sisters! His name was removed from our Scriptures OVER 6,000 TIMES! (I believe 6,800+ to be more exact).. “J-hovah” is again a miss-transliteration because there is no J in Hebrew. Also, the letter V is more of a representation of the letter “Beit/Veit”.. Abraham’s true name was Avraham for example.. The letter V replaced the B.

If people don’t speak up about truths that have been attempted to be hidden, how will others discover this, to be able to research themselves. I pray for conviction from the Holy Spirit for every Set-Apart Believer.

Now remember, I am faulty as well and am not perfect I AM STILL LEARNING TOO! I don’t know all the answers; but from my own studies, this is what I have discovered, and I still am studying, but I figured I’d share my “notes” to date.

Shalom shalom akhim. Todah rabbah.

Have you removed your heart from יהוה?

So I was reading Chapter 15 of Matthew (parallel is Mark 7) because I had a recent conversation with my grandmother about how no one can force a person to stop believing or following Mashiyach.. As always, when something comes up and you do some digging and include sincere prayer- answers come forth reinforcing previous discussions or shedding light on some of the controversial parts. This is why I always try to keep verses in context.. Let’s take a look.

I have two major points to make,

  1. NO ONE CAN REMOVE YOUR HEART FROM HIM- ONLY YOU..
  2. Traditions are not always bad, and NOT ALL P’rushim (Pharisees) were wicked.. Sha’ul (Paul) was a Pharisee, so was Gamli’el, what about Nicodemus?

Notice in verse 8 it says “THIS PEOPLE…. have removed their heart far from me.” It is the PEOPLE who CHOSE to REMOVE THEIR HEART. Next, I’d like to say that the HaMashiyach wasn’t saying n’tilat-yadayim (washing of hands) is a bad thing, it’s actually quite good and hygienic, although that wasn’t necessarily the specific reason they washed their hands before a meal.. Let’s take a look at a different perspective of n’tilat-yadayim I have recently discovered.. Most Jewish men treated their homes as a temple, their food as a sacrifice, and themselves as cohen or the priest of their home. This tradition was passed down from the elders, and again THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH WASHING YOUR HANDS. The problem Mashiyach had with this is that they were holding their traditions OVER the instructions of Elohim. This is demonstrated in the case of “Honor your father and your mother” example and how one may donate money to the temple and give to  יהוה when his parents may have needed monetary assistance thus dishonoring his parents with the excuse of “giving his money to temple service or יהוה! ”  This is a huge contradiction because this would cause people to break the 5th mitzvah for traditions of men. Again the problem occurred when they prioritized the traditions of men OVER instructions of  יהוה! We are to NEVER disregard His Torah for traditions of man but there is nothing wrong with traditions of men- until it contradicts His Torah. We have a responsibility to examine what men say and compare it to His Word, with His Word being the basis of emet (truth). We are not to hold men’s words higher than our Wonderful Creator’s Devarim!

Before I dig deeper, I’d like to say RUACH HAKODESH IS AMAZING..  I’ve spent much time in prayer trying to discern this subject because I feel both sides get too radical and lose focus on what Mashiyach was saying! It’s not that traditions are bad, for he didn’t condemn the tradition of water recorded in the Mishnah (no where is it found in the TaNaKh) in the book of Yochanan (John) 7:37.. It’s when you put the traditions over mitzvot that you begin honoring Him with your lips, but removing your heart far from Him.

Praise be to  יהוה!! ALL GLORY TO  יהוה!! How gracious is He!?

This translation I recently acquired (Hebraic Roots THE SCRIPTURES) reads 15:8-9 as follows:

  • “8.)This people honors me with their mouth and with their lips, but have removed their heart far from me,
  • 9.) And their fear of me is a commandment learned of men” Isaiah 29:13/Matthew 15:8-9″

I thought this was deeper than most translations express.. Because WE HAVE TO REMOVE OUR HEART from Him.. No one can uproot your faith in HaMashiyach Emmanu’El (Yeshua, Jesus); only you can do that. This reinforces what my grandmother and I were discussing earlier about how no person can uproot the tree that is my faith in Mashiyach.. Only I can CHOOSE to uproot myself OR only I can CHOOSE TO REMOVE MY HEART from Him! No one can force me to do so.. It’s a choice…

Continuing on, in verse 4 He reviews what Torah says about “Honoring your father and mother” and then in verse 5, He begins to show the P’rushim’s hypocrisy. In verse 6 the hammer strikes the nail, showing that the P’rushim (Pharisees) enforced their own traditions OVER commands of  יהוה in His Torah. The very people who were suppose to uphold and teach the Torah were contradicting what they were teaching with their actions. This is why he says in Matthew 15:9 that their fear of Him is a commandment learned of men; because their MAN-MADE traditions over ruled  יהוה’s instruction (in their own eyes.) This is why Emmanu’El (Yeshua, Jesus) HaMashiyach quoted from Yesha’yahu (Isaiah) 29:13..

Notice verses prior; the issue is this:

  • “5 But you say, `If anyone says to his father or mother, “I have promised to give to God what I might have used to help you,”
  • “6 then he is rid of his duty to honor his father or mother.’ Thus by your tradition you make null and void the word of God!” -Mat 15:5-6

The problem occurs when any of us try to teach our own rules as if they are commands from  יהוה. Notice in verses 5-6 the issue is Honoring your father and mother, but these P’rushim (Pharisees) or the traditions thereof, claimed that because he was gifting to  יהוה (or the temple), that if his parents needed assistance, and he says “I have promised to give to God what I might have used to help you,” he is then dishonoring his parents to fulfill the man-made tradition. In this way, men were trying to “over-ride” the instructions already given from our WONDERFUL CREATOR. This is the issue being discussed and this is an issue still found in today’s age.

The most important thing is to NOT REMOVE OUR HEARTS from Him, and to remember to not compromise His Torah for any man. There is NOTHING WRONG WITH WASHING YOUR HANDS

Shalom shalom chaverim tovim!! (Perfect peace Good Friends!)

I am no ben-Aharon (son of Aaron) so don’t misconstrue my intent, but I wish to share Numbers 6:23-26 because I found great comfort in this..
23″Speak to Aharon and his sons, and tell them that this is how you are to bless the people of Isra’el: you are to say to them,
24 ‘Y’varekh’kha יהוה v’yishmerekha. [May יהוה bless you and keep you.]
25 Ya’er יהוה panav eleikha vichunekka. [May יהוה make his face shine on you and show you his favor.]
26 Yissa יהוה panav eleikha v’yasem l’kha shalom. [May יהוה lift up his face toward you and give you peace.]’

(Matt 7:23) “Get away from me, you workers of TORAHlessness..”

Did you know, in the Bible, Lawlessness can be directly translated to Torahlessness, or literally translated; “without Torah”. Puts more emphasis on Matthew 7:23:

“Then I will tell them to their faces, ‘I never knew you! Get away from me, you workers of lawlessness!” -Matt 7:23

This could be a bit more adequately put in modern language as workers of Torahlessness or more literally, workers without Torah! I do not wish to change Scripture but to represent without any hidden agenda and as accurate as possible with their true intent. Don’t just take my word for it; study ourselves.. 1 John 2:27  and 2 Timothy 2:15 weren’t written for nothing!

Lawlessness or ἀνομία – transliterated to anomia – is a feminine noun in the Greek language. This term is derived from its roots as follows:
(“alpha” is a negative prefix in Greek language- nomos being G3551 Strong’s)
a=without; nomos=Torah

This is my research using Strong’s Concordance as I’ve inserted Torah  in parentheses from one of my favorite tools to study bible.cc:

The word we see in Greek is anomia:

  • G0458 anomia: lawlessness – (TORAHlessness)
  • Original Word: ἀνομία, ας, ἡ
  • Definition: lawlessness, iniquity, disobedience, sin.
  • Word Origin:
  • 458 anomía (from 1 /A “not” and 3551 /nómos, “law(Torah)”) – properly, without Torah; (TORAHlessness) lawlessness; the utter disregard for God’s law (TORAH) (His written (Torah) and living Word (Mashiyach)).
  • 458 /anomía (“lawlessness”) includes the end-impact of law breaking – i.e. its negative influence on a person’s soul (status before God).

This noun is from THE ADJECTIVE: anomos

  • G0459 anomos: lawless, without law
  • Original Word: ἄνομος, ον
  • Definition: lawless, wicked, without law.
  • Word Origin
  • from alpha (as a neg. prefix) and nomos

Which comes from the root word of: nomos

  • G3551 nómos – law (Torah can be applied here). G3551 (nómos) is used of: a) the Law (Scripture- TORAH), with emphasis on the first five books of Scripture (TORAH); or b) any system of religious thinking (theology), especially when nomos occurs without the Greek definite article.
  • G3551 /nómos (“law”) then can refer to “the Law (Torah),” or “law” as a general principle (or both simultaneously).
  • The particular sense(s) of G3551 (nómos) is determined by the context.

Now note that in Hebrew Torah is not more known of a “law” as it is a teaching or instruction.. The different perspectives are about as contrasting as the issue of “slavery”, considering different cultures.

Where as the Hebrew’s “slaves” were more like workers, other pagan nations slaves were more like property and their owners were considered to be “more superior” than the slaves by genetics, title, or however far their ignorance carried. The point is; when someone leaves a restaurant and doesn’t pay for their meal; they usually aren’t called “slaves” for that restaurant, but in fact, that’s how Hebrew Slavery worked most times, was repaying of debts that couldn’t be paid. In addition, after 7 years they were to be set free, instead of being condemned as an “inferior” person for life. These mitzvot aren’t suppose to be laws and be all burdensome (1 John 5:3.) They are more teaching and instructions to guide us on our walk with Him. That’s the beautiful thing about the love letter written from our Wonderful Creator Himself! Would you like to read it? 🙂

Shalom Shalom Chaverim Tovim!

Many blessings upon your study and may the Ruach Hakodesh reveal to us the truth and application of His Word!

Repent and Turn to יהוה !!

Key to life is to trust and believe in יהוה (Yahweh/YHVH/God) is REPENTING from our sin…

“However, if the wicked person REPENTS of all the sins he committed, keeps my laws and does what is lawful and right; then he will certainly live, he will not die.”
-Ezekiel 18:21

Prodigal son of Luke 15:11-32 is a very biblical foundation of repentance.
Wikipedia says this about REPENTENCE:

“In Biblical Hebrew, the idea of repentance is represented by two verbs: שוב shuv (to return) and נחם nicham (to feel sorrow).

Repentance typically includes an admission of guilt for committing a wrong or for omission of doing the right thing; a promise or resolve not to repeat the offense; an attempt to make restitution for the wrong, or in some way to reverse the harmful effects of the wrong or the omission where possible.

Ezekiel 14:6 says, “Thus saith the Lord GOD; Repent, and turn yourselves from your idols; and turn away your faces from all your abominations.” When one changes one’s mind about sin, a change in behavior will naturally result. For example, those who repented of their sins in the Old Testament often showed outward evidence by tearing down idolatrous statues.[2Kings 11:18]” – Wikipedia// Repentance

To follow Torah or not to follow Torah.. That is the question..

Would you believe a source if they gave you half of the truth? How would you feel if you were brought up on charges and only half the evidence provided was “the half showing guilt” without having the WHOLE story? How can anyone who believes in the Bible disqualify any portion of it or say that a piece of the Bible is “done away with” or “no longer applies.” These people will say the Holy Bible IS YHVH’s (G-d’s) ETERNAL WORD.. (I say YHVH because Yod-He-Vav-He are the Hebrew letters that are the “tetragrammaton” although some ancient sages say it’s YHWH and many believe this as well. I can not personally gaurentee any pronunciation as the accurate one for my feeble mind can not fathom the glorious ways of HIS) These very same people who say the Bible is HIS Eternal Word claim that the first five “books” of that very same Bible (the Torah) does not apply “anymore” or only “applies to Jewish people”, implying His Word is temporary (not eternal) or exclusively to Jewish people. If that were the case we’d have to throw out the whole Bible as void. Obviously there is a contradiction for someone who believes the Bible (His Word) is truth, yet only chooses to “endorse” part of that Bible.. This would take away the validity and credibility of it being His infallible Word. The other huge problem I have is that the “Ten Commandments” are inside Torah, which they say no longer applies. They make it seem like they are the “Only Ten Commandments” when in fact, they should be called the “First Ten Commandments” because there are more that most churches choose to ignore.

Note that I have NOTHING AGAINST the “Ten Commandments” but I truly do believe a quick clarification MUST BE MADE to this phrase for accuracy. They are just “The FIRST TEN Commandments” of many more pertaining to His teaching/instruction to give us the best quality of life possible. These “Ten Commands” are also known as the first 10 Devarim (Words). Many “Christians” take their pastors WORD for it, place it on a pedastool and assume their interpretation is better than the Ruach Hakodesh’s (Holy Spirit) revelation. There is nothing wrong with listening to someone else talk about what their revelation was, but the problem arises when we don’t investigate and study for ourselves (2 Timothy 2:15.) Let me ask you something, do you know the reason why G-d stopped after 10? If you read Exodus 20:18-19 you will find they were afraid:
“they said to Moshe, “You, speak with us; and we will listen. But don’t let God speak with us, or we will die.” (Ex 20:19).
This shows us very clearly it was NOT because He “only had 10 for us” but because the people were afraid they would die. In my personal opinion they were accumlatorily convicted of their sin after each command compounded onto past sin. They only had the courage to make it to 10 in fear of their life after the 10th was said. Remember, they had just got done with making a golden calf earlier- violating “Thou shalt not make engraven images..” in Exodus 20:4-6.. Some christians say all the other commands/regulations fall under “the ten”.. These people are speaking without knowledge, for they have yet to review dietary regulations and I’d love to see them explain how not eating unclean, toxic, abominable animals to our bodies falls under the first 10 mitzvot/commands. If the FIRST Ten Commands apply, so do they all; for if you break one, you break them all.. (James 2:10) Likewise the same applies that if you ignore or abolish one; you must ignore/abolish them ALL!

Another thing I find a huge contradiction with most churches teachings was when I heard Dr. Robert Jeffress (other pastors too). Jeffress specifically, said on Christian-Talk radio station that Americans are not “obligated” to observe Shabbat (sabbath), yet clearly, it is the FOURTH of the very same “Ten Commandments” that Christians are so quick to spout off and say apply. Most christians will agree that the FIRST Ten Commands do apply, but little do they know the fourth command is the first one known as “the sign” which is symbolism for something like a wedding ring. He says in Exodus 31:13:
“Tell the people of Isra’el, ‘You are to observe my Shabbats; for this is a sign between me and you through all your generations; so that you will know that I am ADONAI, who sets you apart for me.” (Ex 31:13)
Much like how a spouse is identified as married by their “sign” (ring) this too, is how we know we are in unison with our Wonderful Creator. They will try and spin things and say that it’s done away with; just like they claim that Torah was “done away with” after Yeshua’s sacrifice on the execution-stake (cross). This is one of the biggest lies being spread around “the church.” They pervert Scripture and take it out of context to support their own agenda and bring glory to someone other than G-d Himself. I wish to clear this issue up for those who aren’t so biased and willing to hear Intellectual AND Biblical evidence without the interferance of personal pride.
To begin I’d like to say that Torah has had a bad reputation amongst believers in Yeshua HaMashiyach (“Jesus the Christ”) because of the way it’s purposefully misrepresented. Most christians call it “Mosaic Law” and the major issue I have with that is IT’S NOT MOSHE’S NEITHER should it be translated as “LAW” in the English venacular. Law is a very harsh word to describe something so beautiful. Torah is about love and how YHVH, the one who created us, says is the best way to take care of ourselves and our neighbors. It’s all about LOVE, so if it is a “law” IT IS THE LAW OF LOVE- teaching us how to love YHVH and love our neighbor; what’s so bad about that? To be more exact, Torah is more accurately translated as “Instruction”, “Teaching”.. These instructions (Torah) are for all of mankind (Ecclesiastes 12:13) and as some translations of Ecc 12:13 says “Applies to Everyone” (NASB)..

In Torah we find verses speaking of one “law” for all. It was NOT JUST Jews at the bottom of Mt. Sinai. Some non-jews had left Egypt with them as you’ll find as Exodus 12:38 says “A mixed crowd also went up with them, as well as livestock in large numbers, both flocks and herds.. Why else would there be commands speaking of the “foreigner living among you” or “stranger who dwells among you” or “the sojourner/stranger.” In addition to this evidence, the fact that our Gracious and Awesome Elohim spoke these very words, brings reality to the existance of OTHERS (mixed crowd) who left Egypt and was with them who were NOT JEWISH!

The other side of this arguement says Torah is only for the Jew or if to be kept by “sojourners/Ger Toshav” only can they do so “in the land of Israel.” This is another false claim usually derived from orthodoxical perspective. To assume this would mean that a Jew ceases being a “Torah-keeping” Jew if he moves outside of the land of Isra’el or that one can ONLY LIVE IN ISRAEL to follow our Wonderful Creator. I ask you to just remember Genesis 26:5 about Abraham obeying. Abraham was not a “Jew/Israeli” although he is the head patriarch of Israel, yes, but not considered of the tribe of Isra’el considering his time was before Isra’el even existed as a nation! Regardless of his “racial identification” he still obeyed Elohim and was blessed because of his trust-grounded obedience which is the TRUE MEANING of “faith.”

Enough of my own ranting; I will let Scripture speak for itself.. (CJB Translation unless marked otherwise)

TaNaKh: (Psalm 119  :D)

TORAH (“Teaching”):

“All this is because Avraham heeded what I said and did what I told him to do -he followed my mitzvot (commands), my regulations and my teachings (Torah.)” -Genesis 26:5
“The same teaching (Torah) is to apply equally to the citizen and to the foreigner living among you.” -Exodus 12:49
“You are to apply the same standard of judgment (Torah) to the foreigner as to the citizen, because I am ADONAI your God.” -Leviticus 24:22
“For this community there will be the same law (Torah) for you as for the foreigner living with you; this is a permanent regulation through all your generations; the foreigner is to be treated the same way before Adonai as yourselves. The same Torah and standard of judgment will apply to both you and the foreigner living with you.'” -Numbers 15:15-16
“The cohen (priest) will make atonement before ADONAI for the person who makes a mistake by sinning inadvertently; he will make atonement for him, and he will be forgiven- no matter whether he is a citizen of Isra’el or a foreigner living with them. You are to have one law for whoever it is that does something wrong by mistake. -Numbers 15:28-29

NEVI’IM (“Prophets”)
“You are to divide it by lot as an inheritance both to you and to the foreigners living among you who give birth to children living among you; for you they are to be no different from the native-born among the people of Isra’el – they are to have an inheritance with you among the tribes of Isra’el.” (CJB) -Ezekiel 47:22

KETUVIM (“Writings”):
“Here is the final conclusion, now that you have heard everything: fear God, and keep his mitzvot (commands); this is what being human is all about.” -Ecclesiastes 12:13

Torah, Nevi’im and Ketuvim = TaNaKh which is called today by christians the “Old Testament” because of the divisive (and succesful) efforts of Marcion by claiming one was “old” and one was “new”. In actuality the implication of Jeremiah 31:31 is the same meaning as “repair/reforge/renew” (to the best of my studies ofc.) In this we have the TaNaKh- Teaching, Prophets, Writings saying that those non-jews are to have the same standard of judgement or teaching/”law.” now I will go even further into showing that “Non-Jews” are to have the same “Law” as “Jews” for we are all ONE PEOPLE in Yeshua HaMashiyach. The beautiful thing about the Bible is it never contradicts itself, even from “Old to New”, the only contradiction you will find is man’s twist of it. That’s why I said never take a person’s word without studying YHVH’s word. He is perfect and the only One who has no contradiction in Himself. Considering we have found Scripture in the TaNaKh supporting the fact that non-Jewish people are suppose to follow Torah, we will find similar ideas in the B’rit Chadashah if it truly is united and one book.

B’rit Chadashah: (Here are more references from a previous post)
“Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them.”  -Matthew 5:17 (NIV)
“Also I have OTHER SHEEP which are not from this pen; I need to bring them, and they will hear my voice; and there will be ONE FLOCK, ONE SHEPHERD.” -John 10:16
“But if some of the branches WERE BROKEN off, and you – a WILD OLIVE – WERE grafted in among them and HAVE BECOME EQUAL SHARERS in the rich root of the olive tree,” -Romans 11:17
“Therefore, remember your FORMER state: you Gentiles by birth – called the Uncircumcised by those who, merely because of an operation on their flesh, are called the Circumcised- AT THAT TIME had no Messiah. You WERE ESTRANGED from the NATIONAL LIFE of ISRA’EL. You WERE FOREIGNERS to the covenants embodying God’s promise. You WERE in this world without hope and without God. BUT NOW, you who WERE ONCE far off HAVE BEEN brought near through the shedding of the Messiah’s blood.” -Ephesians 2:11-13
“So then, you are NO LONGER foreigners and strangers. On the contrary, you are FELLOW-CITIZENS with God’s PEOPLE and members of God’s FAMILY.” – Ephesians 2:19

I would like to say that in John 10:16, the ONE FLOCK is us being Gentiles being the other sheep allowed to be brought in when we hear His voice and we will be ONE with the “flock” of Israel and be ONE FLOCK with ONE SHEPHERD  Romans 11 speaks about grafting of branches, very similar to the concept of Ruth (1:16-17.) This is how “gentiles” were former strangers to the Torah. Now we are of (as some translations say) “commonwealth/citizenship” which would imply we may now partake in Torah keeping as the Messiah Himself did.. after all we are to Walk as He walked right? He washed Peter’s feet because he was “already clean” (saved by faith) but he needed his feet cleaned to continue to WALK in Torah. The fact is by faith we are saved, because if you ONLY did Torah without faith- it’d equal nothing. Most christians keep a good portion of the Torah already, but because of the false theology passed along we (including myself in the past) have grown accustom to certain foods or certain days that violate YHVH’s teaching. Medical science has proven what the Torah knew thousands of years ago about staying sanitary and eating healthy while treating others with respect and properly showing appreciation for the one who gives us our very existence.

I do not post this to condemn anyone, for I have no right to try and place judgement on anyone’s soul. I do have the right to identify the fruit of those teaching. The biggest problem I have is when a verse gets used out of context and I find that in some translations- many verses are purposefully rendered to fit accordingly to the theological doctrine of man, rather than being a close and accurate translation of the Teaching of G-d Himself. The fact is, without Yeshua (Jesus) we are condemned because we’ve sinned falling short of  righteousness because of the wickedness, deceitful and lawless ways of our natural heart. There was a curse put up on that cross with Him, and that’s the curse of death; or the same curse found INSIDE the Torah (proving the curse is not the Torah itself), this is explained in Daniel 9:11.

The fact is, when Yeshua said in John 14:15/1 John 2:3-6 – if you LOVE HIM you will KEEP HIS MITZVOT (commandments), or you will do your best not to sin. Here the commands are not just the first 10 because identified later is 1 John 3:4 which SIN is TRANSGRESSION OF THE TORAH (or the fear-bringing word “law”)

Mosaic Law? Nahhhhh…. It  wasn’t Moses’  in the first place!! In addition to that, the fact it wasn’t a “law” as much as a HOLY Teaching from our Wonderful and HOLY CREATOR telling us how he designed us to sustain ourselves in love; 1 Peter 1:15, Romans 7:12, Psalm 119.. Yeshua is the LIVING Torah, the one who showed us how to live it out properly, the one who said it’s NOT more about the strict conformity to the letter of the law, but it’s about the heart and intent behind it..

“A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of.” – Luke 6:45

Anyone who has a problem with Torah needs to bring up in prayer to the One who Created it.. It’s pretty difficult to deny Torah when the very person we put our faith in the atonement of our sins followed Torah.. How blind would we be to claim that we need to follow him, yet ignore Torah that he followed?

SHALOM SHALOM CHAVERIM TOVIM!
(Don’t take my word for this- study yourself 🙂 Rightly divide the word of truth!)

“The conclusion, when all has been heard, is: fear God and keep His commandments, because this applies to every person.” -Ecclesiastes 12:13

Romans 2:12-18 CJB
All who have sinned outside the framework of Torah will die outside the framework of Torah; and all who have sinned within the framework of Torah will be judged by Torah. For it is not merely the hearers of Torah whom God considers righteous; rather, it is the doers of what Torah says who will be made righteous in God’s sight. For whenever Gentiles, who have no Torah, do naturally what the Torah requires, then these, even though they don’t have Torah, for themselves are Torah! For their lives show that the conduct the Torah dictates is written in their hearts. Their consciences also bear witness to this, for their conflicting thoughts sometimes accuse them and sometimes defend them on a day when God passes judgment on people’s inmost secrets. (According to the Good News as I proclaim it, he does this through the Messiah Yeshua.) But if you call yourself a Jew and rest on Torah and boast about God and know his will and give your approval to what is right, because you have been instructed from the Torah;

Romans 2:23 CJB
You who take such pride in Torah, do you, by disobeying the Torah, dishonor God? –

Romans 2:25-27 CJB
For circumcision is indeed of value if you do what Torah says. But if you are a transgressor of Torah, your circumcision has become uncircumcision! Therefore, if an uncircumcised man keeps the righteous requirements of the Torah, won’t his uncircumcision be counted as circumcision? Indeed, the man who is physically uncircumcised but obeys the Torah will stand as a judgment on you who have had a b’rit-milah and have Torah written out but violate it!

Romans 3:19 CJB
Moreover, we know that whatever the Torah says, it says to those living within the framework of the Torah, in order that every mouth may be stopped and the whole world be shown to deserve God’s adverse judgment.

Romans 3:20 CJB
For in his sight no one alive will be considered righteousn on the ground of LEGALISTIC observance of Torah commands, because what Torah really does is show people how sinful they are. But now, quite apart from Torah, God’s way of making people righteous in his sight has been made clear – although the Torah and the Prophets give their witness to it as well –

Romans 3:27-28 CJB
So what room is left for boasting? None at all! What kind of Torah excludes it? One that has to do with legalistic observance of rules? No, rather, a Torah that has to do with trusting. Therefore, we hold the view that a person comes to be considered righteous by God on the ground of trusting, which has nothing to do with legalistic observance of Torah commands.

Romans 3:31 CJB
Does it follow that we abolish Torah by this trusting? Heaven forbid! On the contrary, we confirm Torah.

Romans 4:16 CJB
The reason the promise is based on trusting is so that it may come as God’s free gift, a promise that can be relied on by all the seed, not only those who live within the framework of the Torah, but also those with the kind of trust Avraham had – Avraham avinu for all of us.

Romans 5:13 CJB
Sin was indeed present in the world before Torah was given, but sin is not counted as such when there is no Torah.

Romans 5:20 CJB
And the Torah came into the picture so that the offence would proliferate; but where sin proliferated, grace proliferated even more.

Romans 7:1-9 CJB
Surely you know, brothers – for I am speaking to those who understand Torah – that the Torah has authority over a person only so long as he lives? For example, a married woman is bound by Torah to her husband while he is alive; but if the husband dies, she is released from the part of the Torah that deals with husbands. Therefore, while the husband is alive, she will be called an adulteress if she marries another man; but if the husband dies, she is free from that part of the Torah; so that if she marries another man, she is not an adulteress. Thus, my brothers, you have been made dead with regard to the Torah through the Messiah’s body, so that you may belong to someone else, namely, the one who has been raised from the dead, in order for us to bear fruit for God. For when we were living according to our old nature, the passions connected with sins worked through the Torah in our various parts, with the result that we bore fruit for death. But now we have been released from this aspect of the Torah, because we have died to that which had us in its clutches, so that we are serving in the new way provided by the Spirit and not in the old way of outwardly following the letter of the law. Therefore, what are we to say? That the Torah is sinful? Heaven forbid! Rather, the function of the Torah was that without it, I would not have known what sin is. For example, I would not have become conscious of what greed is if the Torah had not said, “Thou shalt not covet.” But sin, seizing the opportunity afforded by the commandment, worked in me all kinds of evil desires – for apart from Torah, sin is dead. I was once alive outside the framework of Torah. But when the commandment really encountered me, sin sprang to life,

Romans 7:12 CJB
So the Torah is holy; that is, the commandment is holy, just and good.

Romans 7:14 CJB
For we know that the Torah is of the Spirit; but as for me, I am bound to the old nature, sold to sin as a slave.

Romans 7:16 CJB
Now if I am doing what I don’t want to do, I am agreeing that the Torah is good.

Romans 7:21-23 CJB
So I find it to be the rule, a kind of perverse “torah,” that although I want to do what is good, evil is right there with me! For in my inner self I completely agree with God’s Torah; but in my various parts, I see a different “torah,” one that battles with the Torah in my mind and makes me a prisoner of sin’s “torah,” which is operating in my various parts.

Romans 7:25 CJB
Thanks be to God [, he will]! – through Yeshua the Messiah, our Lord! To sum up: with my mind, I am a slave of God’s Torah; but with my old nature, I am a slave of sin’s “Torah.”

Romans 8:2-4 CJB
Why? Because the Torah of the Spirit, which produces this life in union with Messiah Yeshua, has set me free from the “Torah” of sin and death. For what the Torah could not do by itself, because it lacked the power to make the old nature cooperate, God did by sending his own Son as a human being with a nature like our own sinful one [but without sin]. God did this in order to deal with sin, and in so doing he executed the punishment against sin in human nature, so that the just requirement of the Torah might be fulfilled in us who do not run our lives according to what our old nature wants but according to what the Spirit wants.

Romans 8:7 CJB
For the mind controlled by the old nature is hostile to God, because it does not submit itself to God’s Torah – indeed, it cannot.

Romans 9:4 CJB
the people of Isra’el! They were made God’s children, the Sh’khinah has been with them, the covenants are theirs, likewise the giving of the Torah, the Temple service and the promises;

Romans 9:31 CJB
However, Isra’el, even though they kept pursuing a Torah that offers righteousness, did not reach what the Torah offers. (that’s where Yeshua stepped in)

Romans 10:4 CJB
For the goal at which the Torah aims is the Messiah, who offers righteousness to everyone who trusts.

Romans 10:5 CJB
For Moshe writes about the righteousness grounded in the Torah that the person who does these things will attain life through them.

Romans 13:8 CJB
Don’t owe anyone anything – except to love one another; for whoever loves his fellow human being has fulfilled Torah.

Romans 13:10 CJB
Love does not do harm to a neighbor; therefore love is the fullness of Torah.

What I am saying is not based merely on human authority, because the Torah says the same thing –

1 Corinthians 9:9 CJB

for in the Torah of Moshe it is written, “You are not to put a muzzle on an ox when it is treading out the grain.”i If God is concerned about cattle,

1 Corinthians 9:20-21 CJB

That is, with Jews, what I did was put myself in the position of a Jew, in order to win Jews. With people in subjection to a legalistic perversion of the Torah, I put myself in the position of someone under such legalism, in order to win those under this legalism, even though I myself am not in subjection to a legalistic perversion of the Torah. With those who live outside the framework of Torah, I put myself in the position of someone outside the Torah in order to win those outside the Torah – although I myself am not outside the framework of God’s Torah but within the framework of Torah as upheld by the Messiah.
